About the Business
Built in 1888 The Bonhill and Alexandria Masonic Temple is one of the finest buildings in the Vale of Leven area. Built originally as a girl's school from red sandstone, its presence is gloriously gothic!
Scotland's St. Andrews flag fly's proudly over the building welcoming every new Bridal party through its doors up the grand stone staircase. The entrance hallway, corridor and main fireplace wall is adorned with paintings by Harrington Mann, one of the original "Glasgow Boys" painters.
The hall itself is simply stunning with its wooden vaulted ceilings high above and two imposing fireplaces at each end of the hall, one which can be lit to add extra atmosphere to a cold winter's night. You will have access to the kitchen area which will allow you to bring in the services of an outside caterer, an ante room to use as extra storage space or even as a quiet space for your children to play.
