About the Business
Friends and colleagues of Katie are often bemused by her passion and obsession with wedding cake design. After studying a BSc Hons in Food and Nutrition, then working as a Food Technologist and Pastry Chef, also receiving training from the Royal Wedding Cake designer, it seemed natural for Katie to incorporate her passion for baking, into her career. This meant that Katie could develop her artistic inclination by sculpting designs that are as pleasing to the eye as to the taste buds.
Katie works closely with clients from her wedding cake studio at Vine House Farm, near Peterborough. Treating each client as a personal friend, and giving her full attention to every commission, throughout the design, preparation & production process. She also loves to use her experience with weddings to help with any other questions you may have about your special day, such as styling or supplier advice, to help make your day as perfect as possible.
