About the Business
We are John and Patricia Taggart and we own and run Gold Choice Wedding Cars, based in East Kilbride, Lanarkshire. John always jokes that it is the perfect business for us because he loves cars and Patricia loves weddings.
Like many other people who start their own business, the idea came about because we could not find what we wanted and so decided to fill the gap ourselves. In this case it was because nobody could find a gold Rolls-Royce for a family wedding even though we scoured the internet for hours. The idea of a Gold Choice in cars was born. Our first Rolls-Royce - the Spirit - was so popular with brides that we added the Shadow.
As a family-run company, we really like to provide a personal and high-quality service so there is a lot of work done behind the scenes to make the cars arrive for you on time and looking great.
