About the Business
The Ionian String Quartet is based in Co. Down, Northern Ireland and is available for hire for weddings, functions parties and corporate entertainment at events all over Northern Ireland. With over 20 years experience in organising events we are confident we can provide you with the right music to suit your occasion. We have performed alongside artists from the pop and classical world including Michael Bublé, Andrea Bocelli, Katherine Jenkins, Russell Watson, Sir James Galway, Lesley Garrett, Dame Kiri te Kanawa, Phil Coulter, Westlife, The Corrs, Andrew Strong and Andrea Begley.
As well as playing together in the quartet, all four members regularly work as freelance musicians providing music for TV & Radio as well as studio recordings for albums. This is in addition to freelance work with orchestras and ensembles such as the Ulster Orchestra. We specialise in weddings and will work with you to create the perfect atmosphere for your special day.
