About the Business
My name is Sachiko - I am standing between Michael and Alison in the photography. In 2009 Ian, who is the far right in the photograph, composed "Kuroda Musical" which is about a local war lord of the Kuroda clan in South of Japan. I wrote the story for my husband, Michael and my 25th wedding anniversary. With the help of the Japanese Embassy, London for the 150th celebration of the Trade and Amity Agreement between UK and Japan. We organised a concert performance of the Japanese musical in the Lansdowne Club, Berkeley Square, London. I managed to find old Japanese kimonos including genuine kamishimo (official male kimono during Edo period) for our soloists. After the performance, it was a shame to store all the kimono and theatre props so I uploaded all the photographs on our original website: www.kuroda.co.uk. Since then I have been asked to help many people for their filming, theatre productions, studio photographs, weddings and celebrations.
