About the Business
As a small child, I loved the aroma of baking cakes that seemed to dance its way through our kitchen as my brothers and I eagerly anticipated our delicious teatime treats - my favourite part of the day! Such simple joy biting into those cakes my mother had so lovingly prepared - the flavours, the textures, the toppings - all coming together to make a little piece of magic. With such happy associations, it's perhaps little wonder that I developed a passion for cake making. There's something so special and comforting about giving and sharing cakes, bringing wonderfully warm feelings of enjoyment and creating delightfully loving memories.
Having spent my career working with food, fashion and luxury retailers, I've always championed high standards of customer service and learnt a lot about food handling and hygiene, but never anticipated becoming a professional cake maker and turning my lifelong passion for cake making into a successful Hertfordshire celebration and wedding cake company.
