About the Business
The idea for Sussex Wedding came about in 2010 when I was happily planning my own wedding. I spent hours trawling the internet looking for ideas and suppliers for our big day, but I just couldn't find that one website that had eveything I wanted. I found that on each directory if I searched for venues in East or West Sussex I would end up with venues from Kent or Surrey in the results as well, and it drove me crazy!
Fast forward to 2012 and I had a sudden career change, I went from being a care assistant to a digital marketing account manager in a newly created company. My main role was creating websites and carrying out Search Engine Optimisation to get my clients to the top of Google. It is the experience I have gained in this job that lead me to finally combine the two things I love, weddings and web design, and voila, Sussex Wedding was created.
