About the Business
Husband and wife duo, Carl and Alexandra Davies, have been dancing together since 2001. Starting at a local Salsa class run by Katy James, otherwise known as Katy Cubana. As a result of her fun way of teaching and enthusiasm for dancing, they fell in love with Salsa. They were soon hooked and began going to all her classes, including her Cardiff class where she taught with another experienced Salsa teacher, Andy Witt. Thanks to their efforts, they learned Salsa quickly and began teaching themselves.
In 2006, Carl and Alex had a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity to move to the USA to learn and teach Latin and American Ballroom dancing at the Fred Astaire Dance Studios where they honed their skills. On their return to Wales in 2007, they established Dancing Fever in an effort to spread their love and passion for dancing by building a big social dance community across South Wales.
